    America makes.....WHAT?

I'd really like to know what people think America makes these days besides profit from exploitation?

What DOESN'T China make? What do we make? Anything? It ain't clothes...that's all from little slave labor countries. It ain't technology. That goes to China, India, Germany and Israel. It ain't a leader in education. Where are we...87th in the world or something like that? Manufacturing? Of what? TV commercials?

What DO we make?? Maybe I'm missing something and someone can tell me what we ACTUALLY DO these days.

We don't make a huge quantity of anything compared to what we used to. We do make high dollar items, though. Things like Airplanes, for instance. I have relatives who work in Caterpillar tractor plants so I know we still make them.

Another relative works in a plastics factory that makes parts and Easter eggs and other stuff for various companies. So I know we still do make some small stuff.

Most of our economy, though, is based upon us just buying stuff. The government borrows money in order to give us rebate checks and stimulus money and tax refunds so we buy stuff. They grease the economy of greed to keep the wheels turning.
If it is important enough to have...it is important enough to pay for.

Actually, our number one export is now weapons. We sell more weapons than all of other non-military produces combined. Can you say "Military Industrial Complex?"
I'll stop blaming Bush when conservatives start taking responsibility for Bush.

We make ton's of fat rich politicians with big fat pensions.
We make millions of government "set on my ass because I can't or won't work" jobs.
We make 2000+ page spending bills filled with regulations, taxes, surtaxes, mandates, pork, penalities, more taxes and did I mention Pork.

    Should we stop producing weapons?

On a trip to Target I checked out about 20 aisles of general merchandise. Lamps, tables, furniture, household items, kitchen etc.. 99.9% from China .01% from Germany, 0% made in the USA.

Went over to cameras, electronics, TV, videos...Same thing, 100% oriental made, 0% US made.

Clothes dept? 0% from the US.

    Sad state of affairs.

In short, the US is China's bitch.

When I was discussing this with someone last month he pointed out everything I had on from head to foot and even in my pockets and arms and face came from China. (Well, he wasn't exactly right, my underwear came from Honduras.)

Much of our life depends on China selling us cheap items. If products had to be made it in the US instead of China, inflation would really skyrocket. And some items we can't even make, as we lost the technology to make it.

I think the most important thing that the US has created over the past couple decades is the web. Please remember, this website you're using is build by an American, hosted in America, etc. Could be there are some parts of the server made in China, but that's incidental. If this website were made in China, y'all wouldn't enjoy it that much now would you?

Infomercials, sales ripoffs and poverty I say would say are the top three products of our corporate criminal freezone.
